Manuf: Marucci, Model Number: AP5-LDM Custom Cut, Length: 34 in., Weight: 33 oz., Wood: Maple with a Black/White finish, Labeling Period: 2011, Condition: Uncracked with excellent use. Several ball marks and ball stitch impressions are visible on the right, left and back barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers on the right, left and back barrel. Cleat marks can be seen on the left, front and back barrel. There is a heavy coat of Mota stick on the upper handle and the lower handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. The mark visible on the handle identifies the face grain of the bat. This is a mandatory marking, per Major League Baseball, for all maple bats since January 2009. The date of manufacture (04/25/12), the length (4), the weight (1.8) and Pujols’ No. 5 (5) is stamped into the knob. Pujols signed the barrel in a gold colored pen with the added inscription, “Game Used 12” and in our opinion rates a 7 overall. On the knob is PSA/DNA sticker, “1B04269” and adjacent is MLB hologram sticker, “EK323971”. The player characteristics displayed on this bat indicate it was used by another player in addition to Pujols. The handle tape is inconsistent as is the full handle pine tar application. According to the LOA from PSA/DNA, we can attribute some use to Albert knowing that this bat was obtained directly from him after the 2012 season. This bat was presented to us as game-used and is accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA and JSA.
