Baseball’s hit king, Pete Rose, is a 17-time All-Star, a three-time World Series champion and a National League MVP. On top of multiple MLB all-time hitting records, Rose was a three-time NL batting champion, has his No. 14 retired by the Cincinnati Reds franchise and was named to the MLB All-Century Team. On the front left tail is a “Wilson” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is a grey strip tag with, “84 1” embroidered on it in red chain-stitching. Across the chest reads, “CINCINNATI”, the player number “14” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “ROSE”. All numbering and lettering is done in red tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. Rose signed below the front player number in black pen and in our opinion, rates a 7-8 overall. Rose was a player-manager during the 1984 season. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
