“Fergie” Jenkins was a three-time All-Star, a National League Cy Young Award winner, led the NL in wins twice and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991. On the front center tail is a “1977” year tag and a tag with washing instructions. On the inside below the rear collar is a “TIM McAULIFFE UNIFORM CORP.” manufacturer’s tag and attached below is a size “44” tag. Across the chest reads, “RED SOX” and on the back is the player number “31”. The number "1" appears to have been restored. All numbering and lettering is done in red on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. There is slight staining on the front and right shoulder. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
