During a 20-year career, Tom Seaver compiled 311 wins, 3,640 strikeouts, 61 shutouts and a 2.86 ERA. In 1992, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame with 98.84% of the votes, the second highest percentage to only Ken Griffey Jr. In the neck is a Rawlings manufacturer’s tag size “46” with washing instructions. Embroidered in a strip tag below reads “41 83 1” representing the player number, the year, and the jersey set. Across the chest reads “Mets” and below is the player number “41”. Across the back on a blue nameplate reads the player name, “SEAVER” and below is “41”. All numbering and lettering is done in grey on orange tackle twill. Seaver signed the front of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion rates a 9. On the bottom right of the manufacturer’s tag there is a flag tag that has come undone and is missing. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
