Only six left-handed pitchers have reached 300 wins in MLB history, and 2014 National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Tom Glavine is one of them. During his pursuit of 300, Glavine earned his 275th win of his career on September 29th, 2005 against the Colorado Rockies at Shea Stadium. Glavine had a complete game shutout with 11 strikeouts. On the inside of the front left tail is a “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with three attached flag tags that read, “+2” BODY”, “46” and “SET E 2005” respectively. On the left inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “Mets”, the player number “47” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “GLAVINE”. All numbering and lettering is done in blue on white on orange triple tackle twill. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered. Glavine signed the back number “7” in silver pen with the added inscription on the back number “4” that reads, “Win 275 9-29-05” and in our opinion, rates a 7 overall. On the left sleeve is the team’s, “Mets” logo disc patch embroidered and below is a Majestic logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and a source documentation LOA from Tom Glavine’s brother in law.
