One of the most dominant right-handed pitchers in MLB history, Pedro Martinez became a first ballot Hall of Fame inductee in 2015. The eight-time All-Star and World Series champion won three Cy Young Awards, earned the pitching Triple Crown in 1999 and led the MLB in ERA five times. On the inside of the front left tail is a “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with a size “46” flag tag attached below. On the left inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “NEW YORK”, the player number “45” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “MARTINEZ”. All numbering and lettering is done in blue on orange on black triple tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered. Martinez signed the back player number “5” in a gold-colored pen and in our opinion, rates a 6-7 overall. On the left sleeve is the team’s, “Mets” logo disc patch embroidered and below is a Majestic logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
