Don Larsen pitched the sixth perfect game in MLB history, doing so in Game five of the 1956 World Series. It is currently the only no-hitter or perfect game in World Series history and is one of only two no-hitters in MLB postseason history. He won the World Series Most Valuable Player Award and Babe Ruth Award in recognition of his 1956 postseason. Larson spent the 1962-64 seasons with the Giants and helped the team in winning the 1962 National League pennant. On the front left tail is the “TIM McAULIFFE INC.” manufacturer's tag. Below are two patches one reading the size "50" and the year “‘63”. The jersey measures larger than a size 50. In the rear collar is a strip tag that reads, “Larsen” in black chain stitch. Across the front is "GIANTS”. On the back is the player number "18." All lettering and numbering is done in black on orange felt. There is some minor staining on the back. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
