Barry Bonds is Major League Baseball’s all-time leader in career home runs and has the single-season home run record when he clocked 73 in 2001. One of Bonds’ seven National League MVP awards came in 1992 as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates, hitting .311 with 34 home runs and 103 RBI. In the same season, Bonds won a Gold Glove Award, won the NL Hank Aaron Award and led the MLB in runs, walks and several other offensive categories. On the inside of the front left tail is a “Rawlings” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. There is a flag tag attached that reads, “SET 1 1992”. Across the chest reads, “PIRATES”, the player number “24” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “BONDS” on a white nameplate. All numbering and lettering is done in black on yellow tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a “PIRATES” team logo patch embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
