Tommy Lasorda was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997. Lasorda is a two-time World Series champion, a two-time National League Manager of the Year and has his No. 2 retired by the Los Angeles Dodgers franchise. On the inside of the front left tail is a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. This jersey measures larger than a 46. Above is a “1997” year tag and attached below are two flag tags that read, “100% POLYESTER” and “2” EXTRA BODY LENGTH” respectively. Across the chest reads, “Dodgers”, the manager’s number “2” appears on the back and across the back reads the manager’s name, “LASORDA”. These are done in blue on white tackle twill. The manager’s number “2” appears on the front in red tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey jersey. On the left sleeve is an embroidered patch that reads, “DODGERS Jackie Robinson 50TH 1947 1997 ANNIVERSARY”. On the right sleeve is a Russell Athletic logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as manager-worn and in our opinion shows wear.
