This jersey was worn by New York Yankees pitcher Masahiro Tanaka on July 8th, 2014. Tanaka pitched 6.2 innings while recording 5 strikeouts. On the front left tail is the “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with a “STEINER” hologram serial number “212679” and the size “52”. Adjacent below is a “MLB” hologram with serial number “HZ275522”. There is a hanging flag tag on the bottom right that reads, “COOL BASE”. On the left inseam is the “100% POLYESTER” tag with wash instructions. Across the chest reads, “NEW YORK” in navy blue tackle twill with white trim. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in navy blue, silver and white. Across the back is the player number “19” in navy blue with white trim. A “PSA/DNA” sticker serial number is on the 9 with the serial number “Y08282” as well as a “JSA” sticker serial number “Y52230”. Tanaka has signed the “9” on the back of the jersey in silver marker in our opinion the signature rates a 5. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a full LOA from JSA, a Steiner LOA and a COA from PSA/DNA.
