He was as big and bawdy as King Henry VII and so the nickname "Sultan of Swat" fit Babe Ruth
as well his oversized Yankee uniform. While Ruth's erstwhile records of 60 home runs in a season and 714 lifetime homers have been bettered, his reputation as baseball's royal savior seems to be grow with each passing year. This 3 ½" pin says it all, with the words "Sultan of Swat" written above a rough illustration of Ruth in his Yankee cap and his name underneath. The pin is in excellent condition and is nearly free of rusting.
