On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “44” with washing instructions. Adjacent below is a strip tag that reads “77 1” embroidered. The player ID strip tag has been removed from the collar. The arm band on the left sleeve has also been removed. On the left chest is the Yankees interlocking “NY” logo done in navy blue tackle twill. Across the back the number “32” in navy blue tackle twill. There is a clear outline of the original number “22” still present which was worn by Gil Patterson in 1977. This jersey has been renumbered to its present state of “32” which likely was done for Elston Howard as a special instructor or coach. This jersey was properly tagged, was presented to us as game used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
