Tony Gwynn, “Mr. Padre”, became a first ballot Hall of Famer in 2007. A 15-time All-Star, Gwynn is one of the best hitters in MLB history and earned a Silver Slugger Award five times. Gwynn has his No. 19 retired by the San Diego Padres franchise and won eight National League batting titles. On the front left tail is a, “W.A. Goodman & Sons” size “50” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “PADRES” and the player number “19” appears on the back. These are done in navy blue on white on orange triple tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “GWYNN” in navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the pinstriped white jersey.
