Arguably the greatest athletes of all time, Bo Jackson went from pay dirt to the batter’s box, joining the MLB from the NFL in 1986. Jackson put on one of the more memorable All-Star Game performances in MLB history, getting two hits, two RBI, a monstrous home run and playing great defensively. On the inside of the front left tail is a “Rawlings” size “48” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached adjacent is a flag tag that reads, “SET 2 1989”. Across the chest reads, “Royals”, the player number “16” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “JACKSON”. All numbering and lettering is done in royal blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the white jersey. On the right sleeve reads, “Rawlings” in blue stitching and on the left sleeve is a “KC R” team logo patch embroidered. Jackson signed adjacent to the front player number in blue pen and in our opinion, rates a 8 overall. Originally issued by the Scoreboard company in the 1990s. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
