A two-time World Series champion and three-time All-Star, David Wells led the American League in wins one time and was the 1998 ALCS MVP. On the front left tail is a “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag with three flag tags attached below that read, “+3 “body”, “58” and “2007” respectively. The jersey measures much larger than a 58, in fact it is the largest baseball jersey that we have ever seen. On the left inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “Padres” and the player number “33” appears on the back. These are done in navy blue on white on tan triple tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “WELLS” in navy blue tackle twill on a white nameplate. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered. On the left sleeve is an embroidered team logo patch that reads, “SAN DIEGO Padres”. Below is a Majestic logo embroidered. Wells signed the back left player number “3” in silver pen and in our opinion, rates a 7 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows light use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and a copy of source documentation from Tom Glavine’s brother in law.
