This jersey was worn by New York Yankees pitcher Dellin Betances on July 22nd, 2014 in a 2-1 victory over the Texas Rangers. Betances pitched 1 inning recording 2 strikeouts. On the front left tail is a Majestic manufacturer’s tag with a Steiner Sports hologram sticker serial number “212745”. Attached are two hanging flag tags that read the year “2014 and size “52”. Below is a New York Yankees inventory barcode tag with MLB hologram sticker serial number “HZ164735”. On the left inseam is a “100% POLYESTER” tag with washing instructions. On the left chest is the Yankees interlocking “NY” logo and on the back is the player number “68”. Both of these are done in navy blue tackle twill. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered in navy blue, silver and white. Betances has signed the back of the jersey inside the “8” in silver marker with the added inscription “7/22/14 Game Used 1 IP 0 hits 2 K’s”. In our opinion the signature rates an 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-worn, and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied with a LOA from JSA and a Steiner LOA.
