Bill North led all of MLB with 75 stolen bases in 1976. On the front right tail is the McAuliffe manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent are three additional tags, the year “1976”, the size “44”, and a wash instructions label. On the left sleeve is the 1776-1976 Liberty Bell bicentennial patch. On the left chest is “A’s”. The player number “44” appears on back. These are both done in yellow on green tackle twill. The player name “NORTH” appears across the back above the number in green tackle twill. North signed on the back of the jersey in black marker with the added inscription “Oak A’s SB Champ 1976 75 SB’s Game Used” and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a Bill North LOA.
