On the inner left tail is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag size “42” with washing instructions. Adjacent to the right is a white strip tag reading “2 INCH EXTRA LENGTH”. Adjacent below is an additional strip tag reading “18 PO87”, representing the player number and playoffs 1987. On the right sleeve is a “Rawlings” logo embroidered in white. Across the chest reads “Mets”. Below and on back is the player number “18”. Across the back is the player name “STRAWBERRY”. All lettering and numbering is done in glacier on orange glacier twill. This jersey was tagged and prepared for the 1987 playoffs, however the Mets did not make the playoffs that year finishing with a 92-70 record. This makes the jersey a carry over for the 1988 regular season. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
