The St. Louis Cardinals beat the New York Yankees in seven games to claim the 1964 World Series. Roger Craig pitched five innings in two games, striking out nine batters and earning a victory. On the front left tail of the flannel jersey is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag size “44”. Adjacent below reads “Craig 64” embroidered in red chain stitching. On the inner left tail are the wash instructions. Across the chest reads “Cardinals” embroidered in red on navy blue. The “birds on a bat” cardinals logo is above embroidered in gold, red, and navy blue. The player number “41” appears below and on the back. The player name “CRAIG” appears above the player name on the back. These are done in red on navy blue felt. On the inner rear collar of the undershirt is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “46”. Adjacent below is “B4-1” written in black marker. On the rear collar on the back is the player number “41”. Adjacent below is the player number “38” that was crossed out. Both are written in black marker. On the inner right waistband of the pants is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “36”. Adjacent to the right are the wash instructions. Centered on the inner rear waistband is a white strip tag that reads “Craig 64 36 27ins” in red chain-stitching. In the sweatband of the hat is the "Harry Walker" manufacturer's tag. Adjacent to the right is the size tag that has been heavily deteriorated over time. On the underside of the brim is the player number “41” written in black marker. On the front is the Cardinals “STL” logo embroidered in red and white. The uniform ensemble is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
