Offered here is a dual signed cornermans jacket from “The Fight” worn in Joe Frazier’s corner. This fight, between Frazier and Muhammad Ali, is one of the most legendary sporting events of the 20th century. A 15 round heavyweight title fight between two undefeated contenders, this bout was the first of three contested between Ali and Frazier. The fight concluded after 15 rounds and Frazier was named the unanimous victor. Across the back of this green jacket reads “THE FIGHT”. Ali signed above this and Frazier signed below with the added inscription “3/8/71” both in black marker and in our opinion the signatures rate a combined 7. This jacket is properly tagged and was presented to us as cornerman worn. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA which states they are inconclusive on the Ali, Frazier authentic.
