Hall of Famer Enos "Country" Slaughter played 19 big league seasons with the Cardinals, Yankees and Kansas City A's, hitting .300 or more 10 times. His name lives in history for the electrifying dash he made home from first base in the deciding game of the 1946 World Series, scoring the winning run for the Cardinals against the Red Sox. This Hillerich and Bradsby bat has the labeling period from 1943-49. It is a 34", 33 ½ oz. H14 model bat that shows good game use with a handle crack. There is some slight deadwood on the rear side of the barrel and there is an autograph on the barrel in blue Sharpie that rates a 9.
