As a young boy Yogi Berra didn't exactly seem as though he would turn out to be one of the best ball players in the history of the game, but he would play all the time with his boyhood friends. One of these friends was another who would turn out to be a noted ballplayer himself, Joe Garagiola. From the collection of Garagiola comes this undershirt that had been used by Berra. On the chest of the shirt is a light "8" and under this is a very faint "Yogi", and on the back is "8 Berra". There is a "McAuliffe" label on the front underneath the bottons. On the lower right hand corner of the shirt has been written "this is the first thing Yogi has given me since 1946!, Joe Garagiola", the signature and inscription rate an 8.
