Prior to the 1991-92 season, Erving “Magic” Johnson shocked the sports world announcing he was HIV positive. In tribute to Johnson, the 76ers unretired Billy Cunningham’s #32 and allowed Barkley to wear it. On the left front tail is the “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “50”. Adjacent is another “Champion” tag that reads “YEAR 1991 BODY LENGTH +2”. On the inseam there’s one tag with wash instructions. Across the front is “PHILADELPHIA SIXERS” sublimated in red. Player number “32” appears on front and back in blue on red tackle twill. Player name “BARKLEY” appears on back in blue tackle twill. At the left chest is the official NBA logo embroidered. Signed in black marker on both sides of the jersey under the player number “32” rating an 8. A memorial armband was removed from the upper left shoulder of the jersey. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a Full LOA from JSA.
