Michael Jordan didn’t have very much to say after returning from his one-season absence from playing with the Birmingham Barons in Minor League Baseball. A simple, “I’m back” from his comeback fax sent to the NBA league offices made it clear to everyone around the NBA that the league’s best player had returned. Jordan went on to pull off a second three-peat with the Chicago Bulls in the following four seasons. On the front left tail is the Champion manufacturer’s tag size “46” with washing instructions. Adjacent is an additional Champion tag that reads, “DESIGNED & TAILORED 94-95 EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHICAGO BULLS BODY LENGTH +3”. On the upper left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads “BULLS”. The player number “45” appears below and on the back. Across the back is the player name “JORDAN”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on black tackle twill sewn directly onto the white mesh jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use with discernible piling on the the edges of the tackle twill identifiers from multiple washings. A trait that is atypical for Jordan shirts from this era and one that is clearly visable in high resolution in-game photography. Accompanied by a LOA from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
