Cerv made his last of three stops with the New York Yankees in 1961 when the club reacquired him in a trade with the expansion Los Angeles Angels. Cerv hit .271 and roomed with Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris as the two sluggers waged their famous home run race. This Hillerich and Bradsby bat has the labeling period from 1961-64. It is a 36", 33 ½ oz. K55 model bat that shows light game use and is uncracked. The initials "BC" are on the knob and "17" is on the barrel in black marker.
