Each of these big leaguers spent a brief period of time with the New York Yankees in the 1980s. Though otherwise unconnected, two of them share a unique distinction in that Hassey caught two perfect games in his career, Wynegar one, Dave Righetti's Yankee game in ‘83. Berra's mark of note was playing under his father, Yogi, for 16 games that same season before Yogi was fired. Hassey's Louisville Slugger has the labeling period from 1984-85. It is a 34 1/4", 31 3/4 oz. T141 model bat that show good game use with a barrel crack and deadwood on the rear side of the barrel. Wynegar's Louisville Slugger has the labeling period from 1984-85. It is a 34 ½", 31 oz. T141 model bat that is uncracked and mint. There are two autographs on the barrel in blue Sharpie. Phil Niekro's signature rates an 8 and Wynegar's rates a 7. Berra's Louisville Slugger has the labeling period from 1984. It is a 35", 33 oz. P72 model bat that shows good game use and is uncracked. There is some slight deadwood on the rear side of the barrel and nice pine tar on the handle. There is an autograph on the barrel in black Sharpie that rates an 8. Mayberry's Louisville Slugger has the labeling period from 1980-83. It is a 35 1/4", 36 oz. S226 model bat that shows nice game use with a slight handle crack. There is great pine tar on the handle and the number "10" is on the knob in black marker.
