After a three year absence in the World Series, The 1936 Yankees regained their place on top by beating the cross-town rival Giants, four games to two. DiMaggio's rookie year was nothing short of amazing. He hit .323 with 29 HRs and 125 RBI. This Hillerich & Bradsby brown bat was made to recognize the New York Yankees as World Champions. In gold block letters it reads "World Champions 1936". There are 20 names in gold lettering on the barrel and upper handle of the bat. Names include: Gehrig, DiMaggio, Lazzeri, Ruffing, Combs, Gomez, Hoag, Dickey, Pearson, McCarthy, etc. The bat itself is in excellent condition.
