In a twenty year span from 1923-43, The New York Yankees won ten World Championships. This Hillerich and Bradsby brown bat was made to recognize the accomplishments of that 1943 team. In green block letters, it reads "New York Yankees World Champions 1943". There are 29 names of players and coaches in gold lettering on the barrel of the bat. Included are: Dickey, Gordon, Keller, McCarthy, Crosetti, Chandler, Borowy, Combs, Johnson, etc. The names Art Fletcher, Oscar Grimes, Marvin Breuer, Charles Wensloff and Nick Etten are all faded and appear near the end of the barrel of the bat. The condition of the bat is excellent.
