A member of Major League Baseball's All-Century team, Johnny Bench is regarded by many as the best catcher ever. This Hillerich and Bradsby bat has the labeling period from 1977-79. It is a 35 ½", 32 oz. B278 model bat that shows good game use with a severe handle crack that has been repaired. There is nice pine tar on the handle and Bench's number "5" is on the knob in black marker.
