Walker Cooper was a burly catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1940 -45 who often caught the serves of his brother, pitcher Mort Cooper. Walker put in time with seven big league teams and was a 7-time All-Star. This Adirondack bat has the labeling period from 1946-51. It is a 35", 31 1/4 oz. 1O model bat that shows great game use with a handle crack that has been repaired with eleven nails. There is some deadwood on the rear side of the barrel and tape on the handle.
