Hall Of Famer and 13 time All-Star Harmon Killebrew had his finest offensive season en route to MVP honors in 1969. Killebrew posted career highs with 49 home runs and 140 RBIs and ultimately finished his illustrious career with 573 home runs and 1,584 RBIs. On the front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag with an attached tag reading the size “44”. Adjacent above reads “Killebrew 3 44 69” representing the player name, number, size and year embroidered in script style blue chain stitching. Adjacent below is a tag with washing instructions. In the rear collar is a felt strip tag reading “Killebrew” embroidered in blue chain stitching. On the right sleeve is a Twins team logo patch and the “1969” patch has been removed from the left sleeve. Across the chest reads “Twins” and across the back is the player number “3”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue on red tackle twill. There is evidence of a number change on back with the “3” having been restored. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use with additional organizational wear possibly present. We were told by our consignor that this item was originally sourced directly from a fan appreciation sale held by one of the Minnesota Twins affiliates.
