Robert Parish played 14 years with the Boston Celtics, winning three NBA titles (1981, 1984 and 1986) playing alongside Larry Bird and power forward Kevin McHale. The trio is regarded by many as the best frontcourt in NBA history. Parish was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003 and in 1997, was also named as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. On the front left tail is the Sand-Knit manufacturer's tag size “46”. Above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for BOSTON CELTICS” tag. Adjacent to the left are two strip tags reading “88” and “3” LB”. On the right inseam is a flag tag reading “100% NYLON” with washing instructions. On the upper left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Above is the black “FOLLOW THROUGH” memorial armband which was added after the passing of Joan Cohen, the wife of Celtics owner Alan Cohen. This armband has been faded over time. Across the chest reads “CELTICS”. Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “00”. Across the back is the player name “PARISH”. All numbering and lettering is done in green tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use. This jersey is tagged for the 1988-89 season, however the Follow Through armband wasn’t added until the 1989-90 which likely means Parish wore this jersey for multiple seasons given the outstanding wear. Accompanied by a LOA from Photo-Match.com confirming the match and grading the jersey a perfect 10.
