NBA Hall of Famer "Pistol Pete" Maravich was a spectacular show man who helped open up the game of basketball in the 1970s. After a legendary college career at Louisiana State, he played 10 productive seasons in the NBA, earning five trips to the NBA All-Star Game and one league scoring title. Pistol Pete’s circus shots were considered outrageous during his era. Maravich produced huge numbers, first as the all-time leading scorer in NCAA history and later as a potent force for both the Atlanta Hawks and the New Orleans Jazz. Elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1987 and named a Top 50 All-Time player. On the left front tail is the Sand-Knit manufacturers tag size “42” with washing instructions. Across the front is "JAZZ." Below that and on the back is the player number "7." These are both done in white screen print. Across the back is "MARAVICH" in white tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Basketball Hall of Fame LOA and a Photo-Match.com LOA grading the jersey a perfect 10.
