During his 13 seasons with the Dodgers, Mota made pinch-hitting into an art form, garnering a record 150 pinch knocks. Mota played from 1962-82 and compiled a .304 lifetime average. This Hillerich and Bradsby Bicentennial bat was manufactured in 1976. It is a 34 3/4", 33 ½ oz. D143 model bat that shows great game use with a handle crack. There is some deadwood on the front side of the barrel and the wood is faded around the barrel due to tape. The bat has nice pine tar and the initials "MM" are faded on the knob in black marker.
