Considered by many to be the best defensive shortstop in the history of the Major Leagues, Ozzie Smith backs up this claim with his 13 consecutive Gold Glove awards. This Hillerich and Bradsby bat has the labeling period from 1977-79. It is a 34", 32 1/4 oz. C287 model bat that shows nice game use with a handle crack. This knobless bat has a taped handle with nice pine tar. On the knob, the Wizard's number "1" in on the knob in over a "30" which was written in black marker. On the barrel is an autograph with the inscription "Rookie Gamer" in blue Sharpie and it rates a 9. Included with the bat is a pair of red Franklin batting gloves. These extra large gloves have "OZ" written on the velcro straps in black marker. The gloves show game use.
