In 1973 OJ Simpson became the first NFL player to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season. He holds the record for the single season yards-per-game average, which stands at 143.1. He is the only player to ever rush for over 2,000 yards in the 14-game regular season NFL format. The 1985 Hall of Fame inductee is best remembered for his murder trial that shocked the country. On the front left tail is the Champion manufacturer's tag size “L” with washing instructions. The player number “32” is across the front, back and on both sleeves screened in blue on red. Across the back on a white nameplate is the player name “SIMPSON” screened in blue. The sleeves are custom ribbed which was typical for Simpson jerseys. There are multiple small repairs around the v-neck and upper left chest. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by photos of Simpon as well as an additional LOA.
