Before becoming a two-time Super Bowl champion and Super Bowl MVP with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Hines Ward was a First and Second-Team All-SEC player as both a quarterback and wide receiver at the University of Georgia. Schutt manufactured size “L” helmet with the team’s “G” logo decal on both sides of the shell. The front clips date to “96”. The front bumper reads “DAWGS” and the back bumper reads “SCHUTT”. On the back is a “WARNING” decal and a “PRO-AIR II LARGE” stamp. On the inner left ear is a player number “19” decal and the number is also handwritten in black marker next to it. On the inner right ear are two “WARNING” decals. The padding is fully intact. Ward signed the outer shell of the helmet in black marker with the added inscription “My 1996 Game Helmet” and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
