Fixtures in the Tiger lineup for years, Jim Northrup made his mark in 1968 with four grand slams -- three in one week! -- while Ed Brinkman and Mickey Stanley won plaudits for their Gold Glove fielding, with Brinkman setting a record with 72 errorless games at shortstop in ‘72 and Stanley making no errors in the outfield in ‘68 and ‘70. Northrup's Hillerich and Bradsby bat has the labeling from 1973-75. It is a 34 3/4", 33 oz. S2L model bat that shows light game use and is uncracked. Stanley's Hillerich and Bradsby bat has the labeling period from 1969-72. It is 34 ½", 32 3/4 oz. O16 model bat that is uncracked and mint. Brinkman's Hillerich and Bradsby bat has the labeling period from 1969-72. It is a 33 3/4", 31 1/4oz. C12 model bat that is uncracked and mint.
