Paul Coffey holds the record for the most goals by a defensemen in one season, scoring 48 in 1985-86. He is also the only defensemen to have scored 40 goals more than once, also doing it in 1983-84. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004. Beneath the rear collar is the Maska manufacturer’s hanging flag tag reading “MADE IN CANADA” and with jersey materials. On this tag is “77” “C” handwritten in black marker. Adjacent to the left is a flag tag reading the size “48”. The fight strap is intact. On the upper left chest is the captain’s “C” logo patch in yellow on white tackle twill. On the upper right chest is the NHL “75th Anniversary” patch. Across the front is the large Penguins team logo patch. On the left shoulder is the “1931-1991 BADGER” memorial patch. On the right shoulder is the Penguins “25th Anniversary” patch. On both sleeves is the player number “77” done in black on white tackle twill. Across the back on a black nameplate is the player name “COFFEY” in yellow tackle twill. Adjacent below is the player number “77” done in yellow on white tackle twill. On the back right tail is the “CCM” and “NHL” official logos. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by a LOA from Photo-Match.com signed by hobby veterans Mike Heffner and Nick Coppola.
