In 1994 George Foreman knocked out Michael Moorer to capture the heavyweight championship. It had been 20 years since Foreman could call himself champion again. During the comeback, Angelo Dundee was in his corner. It was Dundee who trained Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and countless other champions through the years. This jacket has been style-matched to George Foreman’s fight on April 26, 1997 against Lou Savarese. Spartan manufactured cornerman jacket that reads “WORLD CHAMPION GEORGE FOREMAN” across the back in blue and red tackle twill. Angelo Dundee signed the back of the jacket in blue marker with the added inscription “Fight Used Corner Jacket Geo. Foreman Oldest Heavyweight Champion 45 Yrs Old Longest Length Between Titles 20 Years” and in our opinion the signature rates a strong 8. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and additional LOA’s from PSA/DNA and Dundee.
