A single page addendum which was part of Babe Ruth’s uniform contract dated March 10th, 1930 between the American League Baseball Club Of New york, Inc and George Herman Ruth. The first pages of the contract have sold for $384,000. This is the original last page to that historic document. The details of the page include Ruth agreeing to participate in “each and every exhibition game which shall be arranged and schedule by the club during the years 1930 and 1931”. The document also states “the club hereby agrees to pay and Ruth hereby agrees to accept such sum as shall be twenty-five (25%) per centum of the actual net receipts of the club from such exhibition games”. Also of note, “Ruth shall not be entitled to be paid any compensation by the club for participation in World’s Series games, if any”. A rare piece of baseball history detailing Ruth’s pay schedule.
