In 21 seasons of Major League play Paul Molitor carved out his own little place in the history of the game. Molitor combined consistency and skill to end his career with a .306 lifetime batting average, a number that puts in the top 100 of all time. He also helped to redefine the role of the Designated Hitter when he hit for average not just for power and has the highest career batting average of any DH. These size 9 ½ Rebok Hexalite turf shoes were used by Molitor. They have his jersey number "4" written in black on the back and show tremendous use. The batting helmet is from his days with the Brewers. It has the team logo on the front and his number "4" on the back. On the brim of the helmet is his name "Molitor" in white lettering. The helmet is size 7 1/4 and shows nice use. The Cooper bat is as 34", 31 ½ ounce, S329 model bat that shows good game use with a handle crack. There is nice pine tar on the handle and there is dead wood on the rear side of the barrel.
