Hall of Famer Willie Mays began his storied career with the New York Giants in 1951, immediately putting up massive statistics. Throughout his 22-year career Mays hit 660 home runs and recorded 3,283 lifetime hits. The 24-time all-star used this bat in the 1962 all-star game representing the San Francisco Giants of the National League. Manufacturer: Adirondack Model Number: M63 Labeling Period: 1962 Length: 35 inches Weight: 32.9 ounces Wood: Ash Finish: Flame Treated. The bat is uncracked and shows light use. A few ball marks and ball stitches are visible on the right and back barrel. Mays signed the barrel of the bat in black marker with the added inscription “Best Wishes” and in our opinion the signature rates a 9. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA And a PSA/DNA LOA grading the bat a GU8.
