Bill "Moose" Skowron was a six-time All-Star for the Yankees at first base. A member of the Yanks from 1954 to 1962, Skowron was in seven World Series with the team. In 1958 his 3-run homer in game seven of the series sealed another championship for the Yankees. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “42” with washing instructions. In the rear collar is a strip tag reading “Skowron ‘58” in script style embroidery. Across the chest reads “NEW YORK”. Across the back there has been a number change now reading “67”. All numbering and lettering is done in navy blue felt. The front of the jersey presents beautifully in all original condition. There is a repair on the left shoulder. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outtanding wear with extended organizational use.
