As a player, coach and manager, Yogi Berra was a part of 13 World Series championship teams. Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972, Berra was also named to the MLB All-Century Team and has his No. 8 retired by the New York Yankees. On the front left tail is a “Wilson” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Inside on the rear collar is a white strip tag with “Berra 80 1” embroidered on it in blue stitching. On the left chest is the team’s “NY” logo and on the back is the coach's number “8”. These are done in navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the pinstriped jersey. The team logo and number have been restored. Berra signed below the team logo in blue pen and in our opinion, rates a 6 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as coaches-worn and in our opinion, shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
