This third base was used at Yankee Stadium during Game Three the historic 2001 World Series between the New York Yankees and Arizona Diamondbacks. On the bottom of the base reads “WS Game 3 Set B, 3B” and “LF” with an arrow pointing in black marker. Also on the bottom reads “MADE IN TAIWAN”, a MLB hologram serial number “GT00043010” and a Steiner hologram. On the top of the base is the official 2001 World Series logo. On two sides of the base is an official “MLB” logo. On the other two sides are a Yankees team logo and a Diamondbacks team logo. This base shows considerably dirt staining on the top and sides. This base was presented to us as game-used in Game Three of the 2001 World Series.
