Jim Rice was the most feared slugger in baseball in the 1970s. From 1976-79, the Red Sox leftfielder became the only player to ever ring up three consecutive 35-home run, 200-hit seasons and in ‘79 won the MVP award. This Hillerich and Bradsby Bicentennial bat was manufactured in 1976. It is a 36", 34 oz. R169 model bat that shows nice game use with a slight crack between the handle and barrel. Rice's number "14" is on the knob in black marker.
