Billy Southworth was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2008. Six years later, the Cardinals inducted him into the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum. He managed three pennant-winning St. Louis Cardinals teams, winning two World Series, and another pennant with the Boston Braves, the last National League title in Boston baseball history. In the rear collar is the Horace Partridge manufacturer’s tag size “44”. Adjacent below is a strip tag reading “Southworth Mgr” embroidered in black script style chain stitching. On the rear middle tail is an additional strip tag reading the year “‘50” also embroidered in black chain stitching. On the left sleeve is the Braves chief logo. Across the chest reads “Braves” done in red on black script style felt on top of the Braves tomahawk logo. Across the back is the manager number “30” done in red on black felt. Under the rear sweatband is a flag tag reading the size “7 ½”. In the rear sweatband also reads the size “7 ½”. Adjacent to the right reads “Mgr Southworth”. These are embroidered in red chain stitching. On the front of the cap is the Braves “B” logo in white felt. This jersey and cap are properly tagged, were presented to us as manager-worn and in our opinion shows wear. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA grading the jersey a perfect 10.
