In the rear neck is the McAuliffe manufacturer’s tag with an attached size “42” tag. On the front middle tail are two tags reading the year “1975” and one with washing instructions. Across the front reads “RED SOX” and across the back is the player number “8”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on navy tackle twill. Throughout the 1975 season the Red Sox wore a bicentennial patch on the left sleeve which there is no evidence of on this jersey. When the postseason began the patch was not worn. With this jersey not having the patch it is possible it was issued for the postseason. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use.
