Dave Parker's 18-year career included many highlights. The "Cobra" was a 7-time all-star and won 3 Gold Gloves as an outfielder. He led the National League in batting twice in 1977-78 and won the NL MVP in 1978. Two of the three bats were given to Parker for participating in 1977 & 1980 All-Star Games. In gold lettering on the barrel of the 1977 All-Star bat it reads "National League 1977 All-Star Game Yankee Stadium-New York". In gold lettering on the barrel of the 1980 All Star bat it reads "National League 1980 All-Star Game Dodger Stadium- Los Angeles". 37 players and coaches names appear in gold lettering on the barrel of the bat. The other black bat comes from Parker's playing days with the Oakland A's in 1988-89. In green block lettering on the barrel of the bat it reads "Oakland Athletics American League Champions 1988". In gold lettering on the barrel of the bat are 39 names of players and coaches. Names include: Parker, McGwire, Eckersley, Canseco, Lansford, LaRussa, Baylor, Welch, Steinbach, Lachemann, Hassey, Honeycutt, Stewart, Duncan, Weiss, etc. All three bats are in excellent to near-mint condition and come with letters of authenticity from Dave Parker.
